It
is
an
express
condition
of
every
person
entering
upon
the
Cross
Country
Course
that
he/she
agrees,
and
if
he/she
is
under
18
years
of
age,
his/her
parents
and/or
accompanying
adult
also
agree,
that
he/she
does
so
at
his/her
own
risk
of
injury
or
damage
that
is
implicit
in
riding
a
horse
on,
over
or
near
a
cross
country
course.
Rules
1. A deposit of £5 will be charged on numbers
2. There will be a short timed section for all classes
3. After three refusals at any one fence the competitor
is eliminated but may continue around the course but
must give way to oncoming riders, riders failing to
do so must leave the course.
4. All Horses or Ponies must be 4 years and over.
5. The organisers reserve the right to:
a) Withhold any prize money because of insufficient
entries.
b) Alter the advertised time.
c) Refuse any entry with or without reason.
d) Alter the course or leave out any obstacle before
the competition.
e) Eliminate any competitors not adhering to the rules.
6. The Judge's decision is final.
7. Dogs to be kept on leads at all times.
8. Any person wishing to lodge any objection should
do so in writing at the Secretary's tent, together with
a deposit of £5 within 15 minutes of the result
being announced.
9. Cross country dress to be worn. Correct current British
Standard headgear and back protectors are compulsory.
10) The competition will be run under BE rules i.e. no standing martingales, draw reins or any other form of gadget.
