COURSE DESCRIPTION

Dressage - Takes place on flat level permanent pasture in a quiet fiels away from the show jumping and cross country.  Large warm up area.
Show Jumping - Large, level permanent ring, thus providing good permanent sward, good size warm up area. High quality wooden show jumps. In extreme conditions the show jumping may be moved to the all weather arenas of  which you will be notified in advanced.
Cross Country - The course runs over attractive undulating Somerset countryside, incorporating a wide variety of well built permanent inviting fences which make use of natural features.  It comprises two water complexes, a sunken road, three sets of steps and a bank complex. Well constructed portable fences are used with good effect to provide variation on the course. It is Stockland Lovell's policy to continually refurbish, upgrade and alter the course and ensure all fences are presented to a high standard. The majority of fences have all weather take offs and landings.
All four tracks ask a variety of questions and tend to be up to height. The courses are designed to be educational and so alternatives are used to give riders the option at the more technical fences. The courses will follow the new route introduced lat year which provides a good flowing track.
As always, careful attention will be paid to the going for all three phases of the event.  Stockland Lovell have invested in their own Blec ground slitting machine.  Both the Show Jumping and Cross Country course will be watered as required.  Arrangements have also been made to utilize the latest aeration machine which will further alleviate ground compaction, should this prove necessary.  Course provides excellent viewing for spectators.  Further details of facilities on our website www.stocklandlovell.com
Stabling: Change price to £18 and add on the end of the paragraph –  Please note Stables will be available from 1pm on day of arrival & must be vacated by midday on day of departure.

Stockland Lovell's course is constructed over 150 acres of rolling Somerset countryside. It is varied and well-built and ensures that full use is made of natural faetures to offer a wide variety of solidly built and inviting fences, including a sunken road, two water complexes, three sets of steps, and many other encouraging and exciting obstacles. It is Stockland Lovell's policy to continually refurbish, upgrade and alter the course. Last year saw the incorporation of a new bank complex. As always, careful attention will be paid to the going for all three phases of the event. Stockland Lovell have invested in their own Blec ground slitting machine, which is used in conjunction with a watering programme to ensure the best possible ground conditions.
